What do I do if I have technical questions?
First, notify your instructor. Instructors can often help with technical issues and will need to know if technical problems are keeping you from completing your course work.
If your instructor cannot help you, please contact SCC's 24/7 Blackboard Support.
Please have the following information available when calling with questions:
- Your name, username, student ID number, e-mail address
- The classes that you are taking
- Your Internet browser name and version number (e.g. Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
- Whether you are using a PC or a Mac
- What operating system (e.g. Win XP, Win 98, OS X)
- Whether you are on a dial up or broadband Internet connection
- If possible, the exact error message you are receiving.
- Time of day this error occurred
- What you were doing when the error occurred, (taking an assessment, posting to discussion board, uploading a file, etc.)
