SCC’s softball team has started theitr season horrendously with a record of 0-6 in the first six games. It’s crucial that the team win their first game if they’re hoping for a winning streak this season. Coach Lance Swehla still has hopes for the season set on the same goal. “Even with our record the girls have played hard,” said Swehla. “We have not seen any of our teams in our division so I do not have a good idea to where we fit.”

According to Swehla the team’s weakness is hitting. The NWAACC website reveals that the softball team has only scored 13 runs in six games.

The team’s goal is to make the playoffs, and their best games have yet to come.
