Funkngroove, the school’s resident, award-winning award-winning funk, jazz and country swing ensemble, will take center stage on Monday, December 3 for your listening and dancing pleasure.

If you’re wondering what to expect from the group’s performance, join the club. It has been known to play everything from contemporary jazz to 1970s funk.

While other concerts that you attend at SCC may have you sitting quietly in your seat, listening to a well-composed choir or band play beautiful music from afar, Funkngroove wants to let you know that it’s OK for you to get up and “shake it.”

That’s what the group’s here for.

Join Funkngroove at 7:30 p.m. in the SCC Campus Theater.

Tickets cost $7 for general admission, $5 for students, faculty and seniors and $3 for children and students with ID cards.
