Depending on the storm, a school closure decision cannot be made until the last minute. 5:30 a.m. is generally the latest that the decision will be made. But listed are some resources for you to consult in case attendance-jeopardizing weather decides to pay SCC a visit.

•Check the college website, http://www.shoreline.edu. The homepage will have the latest information on whether or not classes have been cancelled. Another site that will show all college and school cancellations in the area is http://www.schoolreport. org.

•Watch the news. Local TV stations usually go through class cancellations and travel trouble spots.

•Call (206) 546-4101. A message will be posted, informing the SCC community of campus closures.
