IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, YOU WRITE IT!!!
Hi there, I am the Arts and Entertainment Editor for the Ebbtide.
I'm writing this, not only as an introduction, but also as an invitation to you as the reader to submit your works and criticisms.
I will try my best to appeal to your needs as readers of the Ebbtide, but also ask that you make your personal tastes clear to me so that I can better address the music, movies, television, and happenings that interest you most. I will also accept any reviews, pictures, poetry, funny short stories, or anything else that pertains to the A&E column.
I plan to keep my section so that it appeals to a wide variety of people, and in order to do that I need your feedback and submissions.
Send your submissions and feedback to Brian Kerin at a_e_webbtide@yahoo.com

Go see The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers for a second, possibly third, show at the Cinerama. This theater has the only digital movie projector in the state and the difference in presentation will be noticeable. As well, the Two Towers will be the most exciting film in the trilogy so make sure to smoke some halfling's leaf before the show.
Go see Henry Rollins' spoken word Jan. 10 at the Moore Theater. Tickets $21-23.50 depending on seats, doors at 8 p.m. Mr. Rollins has a different take on things and is quite the charismatic speaker. He could make you angry or he might change your mind!
Go see Silkworm, The Consonants, Check Engine and 31 Knots Jan. 11 at the Crocodile Cafe. Tickets $10 adv. at ticketweb.com or $12 DOS. Silkworm has survived as a rock band enough to see all the bands they used to play with disband or fade into obscurity. Why you might ask; well, their brand of rock is ever changing and always fresh.
Go see Erykah Badu and Cody Chestnut Jan. 12 at the Showbox. Tickets are $37.50 adv. at Fastixx or $40 DOS, doors at 8 p.m. Badu's music is weird enough for the music purist and palatable enough for the layman, so even if the tickets are a little expensive the show will still be good.
