Kool Aid, his nephew DEZ, and cousins Momo and DJ Jaybee make up La Paz ("Peace"). A Latino hip-hop group hailing from California's Central Valley, these guys have deep roots in the social movements there - Kool Aid's uncle is legendary United Farm Workers Union founder and leader, Cesar Chavez.

Graduating music students who have had intensive music study at SCC will perform this spring recital. Each student performs an individual section, comprised of various composers and styles or one major composition. A reception will follow the recital.
