SCC Auto program ranks first in nation
Once again, Shoreline's Automotive Program has been hailed the best in the nation. All four programs - GM, Chrysler, Honda and Toyota - received perfect scores in a rigorous, multi-level evaluation. The re-certification by National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) was performed by an independent team composed of ASE-certified technicians. The NATEF evaluators said that this is the first time any college has earned a perfect score. The program is evaluated every five years.
Division Dean Don Schultz gives credit to the faculty. "It's because of the hard work of our faculty - Scott Main, Ken Campbell, Jack Shiel, Mark Hankins and Bob Biesiedzinski - they are the ones who have created and sustained the number one program in the nation."
