Blackboard Information

Blackboard is Web-based software that provides students and instructors a set of tools to post class materials online and easily communicate with each other. Shoreline uses Blackboard to deliver its Online and Hybrid courses, and provide web resources for on-campus Web-Enhanced classes. Students can access the Shoreline Blackboard Web site from anywhere they have Internet access.

The resources below provide students with instructions for getting started in their Online, Hybrid, or Web-Enhanced course and information about using Blackboard.

At the orientation session, you will create a Blackboard account, join your online classroom, and see an overview of the Blackboard online classroom. Please bring your SIDs - a 9 digit number that starts with 965 and found on SCC students cards, or, registration information, to the session. These sessions are recommended, but not required.)
