Here at Shoreline, we emphasize a hands-on educational experience that you won't
find anywhere else in the Pacific Northwest. We offer a unique integrated
program of study in both the theatre arts and film and video production. What that means for you is that wherever your interests may lie, from
acting and directing for the stage, to writing and shooting your own
film-- and everything in between-- we provide the educational and
practical foundation you'll need to bring your personal vision to life. And as
a Shoreline graduate, you'll have the knowledge and training to help
you pursue your goals in the highly competitive professional world of
theatre and film.
In the Drama and Cinema Department, students are encouraged to
experience the full range of artistic expression. Studies are designed not
only to develop your skills, but to also explore your personal creative
voice. Our curriculum combines a dynamic classroom environment with
opportunities to complete a wide selection of individual projects.
In many cases, these projects are proposed by the students themselves, with a
faculty member working side by side from start to finish as both advisor
and colleague.
