Associate
degree from Shoreline Community College can be earned at SCC with
several options or areas of concentration. To earn an
associate
degree, students complete approximately 90-91 credits. The
approximate time to complete this degree is two years, taking 15
credits per quarter (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
Certificate programs require fewer
courses and credits to complete, yet help you acquire skills and experience in
a variety of career areas in a shorter time period. A Certificate of
Proficiency is approximately 45-89 credits of coursework, a
Certificate of Completion requires 18-21 credits, and a
Short Term Certificate requires 19 or fewer credits.
Associate Degrees
With this degree, you may choose to transfer to a four-year
university to complete your bachelor's degree, get a wide base of
skills and experience in a professional-technical field, or pursue
general studies.
If you intend to transfer to a
four-year university upon completion of your degree, you will
complete either
AAS Option
A,
AAS Option
B, Direct Transfer
Agreement (DTA),
Associate of
Fine Arts (AFA),
AS Track I or II, or
AAAS-T.
