QUICKBOOKS - PAYROLL--NEW
Learn how to set up and process payroll using
QuickBooks. Topics include setting up and
configuring payroll, state and federal taxes,
fringe benefits, sick leave and vacation
accruals, timekeeping, printing checks, doing
customizing reports, and W-2/ W-3 forms. We will
also cover a variety of payroll additions and
deductions including bonuses, overtime,
reimbursements, loans and advances. Students
should have basic knowledge of payroll rules and
experience using QuickBooks. Learning materials

business owner and has over 20 years of
bookkeeping and accounting experience in small
and medium size businesses.

Small Business Accelerator
The Accelerator assists business owners and
entrepreneurs to start-up, plan, expand or grow
their small business. One-on-one counseling
programs are project-based, and driven by an
action plan to achieve specific business goals.

interview. The Accelerator is funded by the
Herbert B Jones Foundation and is a free service
to qualifying business.
HOW TO WRITE A SINGLE-PAGE BUSINESS PLAN-THAT
WORKS!—NEW
The Quick-Plan (single-page business plan) is a
tool that can help all of us, whether we are
just in the idea stage of business planning or
are in business and never took the time for this
important exercise. This workshop is designed to
help you think, plan, and put down on paper your
vision, goals and plan to start or grow your
business. It will also take you to the next
level in business planning. Each student will
leave with worksheets and the beginning of their
own Quick Plan.
