Residency Tuition
Declaration for Non U.S. Citizens - Effective July 1, 2003
Individuals who are not
citizens of the United States or permanent residents may be eligible
to pay resident tuition rates if they:
1. Received a diploma from a
Washington high school after completing the full senior year and
lived in Washington State for three years immediately prior to
receiving the diploma or lived in Washington State for three
years immediately prior to receiving the equivalent of a high
school diploma;
2. Continuously resided in the
State since earning the high school diploma or its equivalent,
and
3. Submit the required Washington
Higher Education Residency Affidavit promising to file for
permanent resident status at the earliest opportunity and
indicating a willingness to engage in other activities necessary
to acquire citizenship.
If you are meet the above
eligibility requirements, please print and complete the form
with your signature. The original copy of this form should be
submitted to the SCC Admissions Office. Please do not fax or
e-mail the form as these cannot be accepted.

Requirement
To be considered a Washington state
resident, you are required to have established residency at
least twelve 12 months prior to the beginning of the quarter
for which you are applying. Review the Washington State Residency

You may request to change your residency status by completing
the following questionnaire and mailing it with copies of
the required documents to the SCC Admissions office. Faxed
questionnaires can not be accepted. College and University
