Growth Forest & Salmon Stream
which is right in our backyard.
Bring gloves, pruners or shovels
if you have them (some can be
provided), long sleeves and a
smile to help us remove ivy &
plant native trees and shrubs.
Some refreshments will be

An Ornithologist’s Observations
from Three Decades in a Rapidly
Changing Arctic”
George Divoky has spent over
three decades on Cooper Island,
an arctic seabird colony, where
he has been able to watch both
the biological and environmental
effects of global warming.
Divoky discusses the
implications of his observations
to the Arctic’s fauna and
