Intercollegiate Athletics and Facilities                    Building 3000

Shoreline Community College is a member of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC).

NWAACC is the governing body for community college athletics in Washington and Oregon and is divided into four geographical regions. Shoreline competes in the Northern Region of the NWAACC. Shoreline also participates in non-leagues games throughout the western United States.

Shoreline Community College's athletic/physical education facilities are housed in the 3000 building.  Indoor facilities include a full-size gymnasium with a seating capacity of 1500, a fitness center, a mini gym, racquetball courts, and several classrooms. The entire facility is open 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

To use the Fitness Center, you must sign-up for PE 200 for either 1 or 2 credits. SCC faculty and staff may use the Fitness Center without being in PE 200. For 2009-10 the hours for the Fitness Center are Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Fitness Center is closed during break times or only open for very limited hours.

The outdoor facilities include an all weather track, jogging trails, and soccer field.    The college coordinates scheduling of facilities for softball, tennis, and baseball with Shoreline Parks.
