SHORELINE - Jim Hills, publisher of The Enterprise Newspapers since 2000, has been hired as Special Assistant to the President, Communications and Marketing at Shoreline Community College. Hills will lead public relations, communication and marketing efforts as well as governmental and media relations in this temporary position. The college will conduct a search for the permanent position next year.
Hills has more than 25 years experience with various media and membership-based organizations. He is currently a board member of the Shoreline Community College Foundation and the Shoreline/South County YMCA, and a member of the Shoreline Rotary. Hills, a Shoreline CC graduate, received his bachelor’s degree in editorial journalism from the University of Washington.
Shoreline Community College President Lee Lambert looks forward to working with Hills. “Jim is not only highly regarded in our community as a leader, but as an advocate for higher education. He will certainly bring positive new energy to our college.”
Hills joins the administrative team on the first day of Spring Quarter, Monday, March 31, 2008.
