Support For Students
The Workforce Division at Shoreline Community College works in partnership with a number of outside agencies, companies and organizations. Through such partnerships, the college is better able to support students while they are in college and facilitate their success when they complete their studies. Our partners are an important asset to our students and we want to acknowledge their services and their efforts.
CARES of WA
Cares provides individualized and long-term support for people with disabilities and those experiencing adversity due to low income.
Department of Social and Health Services
DSHS help to improve safety and health status, increase education and employment success. They offer protections, comfort, food assistance, financial aid, medical and behavorial care.
Employment Security Department
ESD helps Washington's workers and employers succeed by offering superior employment services, timely employment benefits, and a fair and stable unemployment insurance system.
Goodwill Industries
Goodwill helps to enhance the quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need.
King County Veterans Programs
The Veterans Program serves low-income, homeless, disabled and at-risk veterans and their families. The program helps to provide financial, housing, and employment services.
Neighborhood House
Neighborhood House helps diverse communities of people with limited resources reach their goals for self-sufficiency, financial independence, health, and community building to eliminate poverty.
North Seattle Community College
NSCC provides education and training opportunities to students from a variety of backgrounds.
Opportunity Center for Employment and Education (OCE&E)
The Opportunity Center for Employment and Education (OCE&E), located on the North Seattle Community College campus, provides integrated education, vocational, employment and supportive services through a partnership of multiple community-based agencies and community colleges. These organizations are working together to provide seamless employment and educational services and public assistance benefits to the unemployed, the underemployed, students and their families.

Refugee Women's Alliance (ReWA) is a multi-ethnic, community-based organization providing comprehensive culturally and linguistically appropriate services to refugee and immigrant communities.

Seattle Jobs Initiative (SJI) offers low-income individuals training that leads to college credentials in growing local industry sectors. They align support services- intensive college navigation, housing, childcare and transportation- to provide participants the best opportunity to complete their career pathways and to secure and retain well-paying jobs.
