PREREQUISITES:
There are no prerequisites to taking courses in art, art history and visual communications. To begin the degree we strongly encourage English 100 or ESL 100 and Math 070, or satisfactory Compass testing placement for English and Math.
Although not a requisite for admission to the Art and Visual Communications Center, a strong portfolio is recommended. You can set up an appointment with one of our faculty advising staff to have an informal evaluation of your portfolio to assist in potential advanced placement, substitution or waiver in the program courses.
