GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
General Education Requirements are for students who wish
to complete a two year Associate of Arts and Applied Sciences degree at
Shoreline Community College.
For students planning to transfer to a four year university or college
use the transfer planning sheet for appropriate choices.
For students with a two or four year degree from accredited institutions in the U.S. and abroad some or all of the General Education Requirements may be waived by providing official transcript information and meeting with an appropriate VCT faculty advisor.
Students wishing only to upgrade existing skills in a skill area may by-pass the General Education Requirements.
Students may also have selected courses waived by demonstration and written documentation of prior life experience applicable to the subject matter and fulfilling course syllabus material.
Courses on the provided planning sheets are for reference only. All Art/VCT degree course requirements are reviewed and updated regularly. Please see an Art/VCT faculty advisor for up-to-date information and requirements.
