Facilities

The Visual Arts Center opened in 1995 as a state of the art facility consolidating the visual arts programs in fine arts and technical arts. This unified approach strengthens ties among students, faculty, and businesses who have similar interests.

The unique layout and organization of the facility fits the needs of the program’s broad and diverse curriculum. There are 10 studio arts labs and 4 computer labs housed in the facility. In addition, the facility and equipment meet safety standards and are appropriate to the teaching needs of the faculty and the learning goals of students. Due to rapidly changing technology in printing and design, employers have a great demand for personnel who are skilled in the latest techniques.
