This program is designed to help transferring
students succeed in academic courses required to
transfer to a four-year university or other college.
Transfer students looking for academic support can
receive free and professional tutorial assistance.
International students seeking fundamental English
tutoring are also eligible for free services. Moreover,
students who have achieved a high standard of grades
might be able to work as a tutor to assist other
students. The transfer student tutoring program is
funded by Shoreline Community College’s Student
Government.
The goal of this program is to help students
currently enrolled in professional/technical programs
succeed in the campus environment and to help them make
a seamless transition from school to work.
Professional-Technical students looking for academic
support can receive free and professional tutorial
assistance. Students who have achieved a high standard
of grades may also be able to work as a tutor to assist
other students. The Professional-Technical student
tutoring program is funded by the Carl Perkins Grant.
All students are required to attach a copy of their
current quarter schedule to applications for
tutorial assistance.
