Network and email access issues
Network and email access may seem slow due to a delayed backup of servers that started Monday morning at 8:30am and is expected to continue until early afternoon.

Problems logging in and accessing email are also being reported.  Rebooting the computer should resolve this problem.
Webmail service restored
Access to mail.shoreline.edu was restored at 8:30am.  The service was down due to the default website on one of the front end mail servers being in the stopped state.  It is not clear from the logs why it failed to start properly.
SCCMail3 reboot for maintenance
SCCMail3 was rebooted at 5:35p to fix errors with Exchange Server.
New icon in system tray

You may notice a new icon in the system tray on right hand side of your menu bar, looking something like a windshield wiper or fan.  Hovering over the icon will reveal the text, "Managed by IMG....).  This is the client software for our computer imaging system.  The new client offers features that make it easier for TSS to restore computers.

Network outage resolved
A network outage around 10am resulting from a misconfiguration on a server has been resolved.
