Wireless Printing in Library Labs - Linux

 

Though the software isn't available for Linux through our campus-wide printing system, Pharos, you can still set up wireless printing for the printers in the library building. These instructions are based on Ubuntu 13.10 and may vary if your Linux version is different. 

 

Black and White Printer

  1. Navigate to Printers and choose Add
  2. In the New Printer field select Enter URI under Devices
    • URI
  3. Under Choose Driver click select printer from database and highlight HP as the manufacturer
  4. Under Models select LaserJet p4015dn
  5. Select Duplexer option to enable two-sided printing
