Dear website visitors, If you are looking for a photo of me and members of the Dani people, an indigenous group from central New Guinea, (Irian Jaya), I have removed it from this site.  I understand that because the photo was shown out of context (with no historical or cultural background), it may have been offensive to some who viewed it.  That was never my intention.  I apologize to anyone who misunderstood or took offense to something that was provided without context. If you still have concerns about the posting of the photo, I urge you to contact me directly.  I would also enjoy the opportunity to share more of the story of the Dani with anyone who is interested.
