If you are a new student for Summer and/or Fall quarters and would like to schedule Testing and New Student Orientation & Registration appointments on the same day, we offer these services on the following dates: May 27th, and June 17th. Drop-in COMPASS testing on May 27th will be available from 1pm to 6:30pm (must start testing by 4:00pm). Drop-in COMPASS testing on June 17th will be available from 10am to 4:30pm (must start by 2pm). COMPASS testing is not timed, but it typically takes one and half to two hours to complete the test and you get your results right after testing. Depending on the time you start testing, you could schedule your O & R session at 5:00pm on May 27th or schedule for 1:30pm or 5pm on June 17th. If you need reasonable accommodation in the ASSET or COMPASS testing process, please provide documentation of your disabling condition to the Office for Special Services call 206-546-5832. If approved, OSS will arrange for accommodation with the Testing Center. To request accommodation for the GED test, please obtain a Special Accommodation Packet from the SCC Testing Center.  The Testing Center is located in the Foss building in room 5225 and the Cashier’s Office is in room 5227. Please pay all fees prior to testing; the cashier generally closes at 4:30 pm.
