1.  How do I know what is the best degree for me?

It is important for you to meet with you advisor to discuss your educational goals. Your     advisor can help you choose the plan of study that is appropriate for you.

 

2.  Can I continue my education after completing a Certificate of Proficiency?

Yes, our Certificate of Proficiency planning guides are designed to help you continue taking classes in your chosen field of study.

 

3.  Can I complete a Certificate of Proficiency and also complete a two-year transfer degree?

Yes, many students like to complete either a Certificate of Proficiency or a Certificate of Completion to learn new skills and find a job.  In addition, students can complete their two-year transfer degree.

 

4.  If I graduate with an Associate in Applied Science - T (A.A.S.-T), can I transfer to a four year university?

Yes, students that complete an Associate in Applied Science - T program can transfer to a four year university through an "articulation agreement' or an "upside down program".  Click here, to obtain a list of our agreements.

 

5. If I graduate with an Applied Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAAS) degree, can I transfer to any university?

No, only those programs that have "articulation agreements' with some four-year universities can transfer.
