Academic
advising is a learning
process supported by a
relationship of mutual
respect and
collaboration between
advisor and advisee.
Every student is
assigned an advisor to
help chart a path toward
obtaining their academic
goals in an efficient
and effective manner.
Every faculty member
is also an advisor, and
advice can be sought
from a faculty member
even if they are not
your advisor.
Advisors work
with students to assist
them with reaching their
academic goals and/or
transferring to a
college/university. For
