If you are a new student and would like to schedule Testing and New Student Orientation & Registration appointments on the same day, we offer these services on the following dates: Dec 3rd, Dec 10th and Dec 17th. Drop-in COMPASS testing will be available from 10am – 4:30pm (you must start testing by 2:00pm). COMPASS testing is not timed, but it typically takes one and half to two hours to complete the test and you get your results right after testing. Depending on the time you start testing, you could schedule your O & R session at 1:30pm or 5:00pm on Dec 3rd, Dec 10th or Dec 17th. If you need reasonable accommodation in the ASSET or COMPASS testing process, please provide documentation of your disabling condition to the Office for Special Services call 206-546-5832. If approved, OSS will arrange for accommodation with the Testing Center. To request accommodation for the GED test, please obtain a Special Accommodation Packet from the SCC Testing Center.  The Testing Center is located in the Foss building in room 5225 and the Cashier’s Office is in room 5227. Please pay all fees prior to testing; the cashier generally closes at 4:30 pm.
