unique and vivid detail that considers all human senses.
Look through your essay and carefully
consider what point you are trying to make about the
event and make sure all detail
is connected to the point (the thesis) and that the point
is clear to the reader.
Then look through the essay and see if
more detail is needed to make the point.
Title the essay with an original title
that captures the unique essence of the essay.
Now look through your essay (and have
others do the same) and make sure you have used precise,
descriptive adverbs and adjectives and active (rather
than passive) verbs.
