Instructions for Exam 1
By doing these test corrections, you can get back up to half of the points you lost on the exam. Read all instructions carefully before beginning! I will not read any solution for which the instructions are not followed.
1. Do all work on a separate sheet of paper – do not make any new markings on your exam.
2. For every problem or part of a problem (such as 3(b)) for which you lost points, write a thorough solution to the exam problem. Then, write a thorough solution to the corresponding textbook problem, listed below. (As a check to make sure you’re doing the right problem, it should seem closely related to the exam problem.)
