By being a
member of Phi Theta Kappa at Shoreline Community College, you
can choose to be actively involved in the various campus and
community outreach activities that we do each year! Members can
go to the annual Honors Institute, meet new people and make new
friends, and promote excellence in academics and display
leadership in student-led activities. The list of the activities
that Phi Theta Kappa members participate in is endless, and
there are always lots of opportunities for members to be
involved!
Phi Theta Kappa
membership provides many opportunities for scholarships.
The official Phi Theta Kappa site offers a directory of
four-year colleges, universities and graduate-level
institutions. Their
Search Page provides a list of the states and schools with
scholarships available. The Phi Theta Kappa
Scholarship Listing gives more specific information on type
of scholarships and requirements for these institutions. To
access this link a member number is required or you can check
the advisor/guest box.
All new inductees are automatically nominated for the National
Dean’s List. One member from each of Phi Theta Kappa’s 29
regions, and one at-large member, are
chosen by random search to receive a
National Dean’s List Scholarship of $250 each.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation recently launched a new
scholarship program for two-year college students
