Summer Wine Classes at SCC
Shoreline, WA
— Build your own collection of wine favorites for any occasion. Shoreline
Community College offers wine appreciation classes with an emphasis on wine’s
relationship to place and culture, as well as “lips on” training. Instructor
Jeff Omalanz-Hood has been a gourmet cook and wine connoisseur for over 18
years. Classes meet on Shoreline Community College’s main campus at 16101
Greenwood Avenue North.

A fun and informative class for beginning to intermediate wine lovers.
Includes tasting and discussion of geography, food pairings, and more. Six

Greatest Wine Hits: Nine Years Of Class Favorites.
After almost a decade teaching wine classes at SCC, Jeff has built up quite
a selection of wine, which students have raved about. He will share one
special wine that’s sure to be a new favorite.
