Name That Film!
Unique film sound production class at SCC
Shoreline, WA ― Shoreline Community College offers a summer
Certificate Program in Digital Performer, a premiere MIDI and digital audio
sequencing program. In this 15-credit intensive recording workshop, students
learn the intricacies of recording digital audio, creating sound effects and
recording dialog for a major motion picture. Students get first-hand experience
in audio consoles and their use, mixing control surfaces, microphone technique,
sound design, automated dialog replacement and film mixing. This four-week
intensive course is offered only during Summer Quarter, and Shoreline Community
College is the only college in the state of Washington to offer this kind of
class.
Students receive a Certificate of Proficiency in
Digital Performance and are qualified to work on post production for film and
video. Class members receive a DVD copy of the finished product.

Quarter on Monday, June 26th and end July 20, 2006. The course will
