Or the Big List of Homework (which has been
suitably updated and is ready to go.)
New! Final grades. Everyone enjoy the rest of your summer!
Homework assigned so far:
- A, due Tuesday, June 24.
- C, D, E. due Monday, June 30.
- F, G, due Monday, July 7. (Note that problem #61 from section 5.2 requires
you to use #28 from that section.)
- H, I, J, K, due Monday, July 14. (For K#1, you can assume a
≤ b. For I#1c, the integral should end
with a dy not a dt -- sorry about that.)
- L, M, P, due Monday, July 21. This is a lot of
homework. Sorry. (For M #4, the region is the part of the ellipse to the right
of the y-axis; that is, the region bounded by the curve in quadrants I and IV
only. And for M#1, the region is bounded by y=0, not x=0. I apologize for
the errors.)
- The midterm corrections described above are due
Thursday, July 24.
- Q, R, S, due Monday, July 28. A few notes:
- Q4 should say "trigonometric identities" instead of "trigonometric
substitutions."
- R3's integral should equal πr2/2.
- S3: the denominator should be x2-2x+3.
- T, U, V, due Monday, August 4. (For V1, you can either use a calculator
or you can use Simpson's rule with n = 10. Your choice.)
- W, X, Y, Z, due Monday, August 11. Note that for W4, where it says "|b|leqr
", that should instead say "|b|≤ r ".
