SCC Men's Soccer Drops 4-1 Match To Skagit Valley College On Wednesday
The Dolphin Soccer Team traveled to Mt. Vernon, WA on Wednesday to face the Cardinals of Skagit Valley College and came back with a 4-1 defeat.
SVC struck early, scoring their first goal the third minute and adding second goal at the half-hour mark. SCC cut the lead to 2-1 on a goal by Owusu Fordjour at the 55 minute mark with help from Javier Perez with an assist. But Skagit scored two more goals later in the second half to seal the match away.
Shoreline drops to 0-13-0 on the year, with their losing streak extended to 16 matches counting the end of last season. SVC goes to 5-8-1 on the year and 3-5-1 in the NWAACC Northern Region.
Shoreline faces Everett CC on Saturday at 2:15pm at Dolphin Field on the SCC Campus.
