Role: The Community Task Force is
comprised of citizens who are interested in monitoring
the development of the Environmental Impact Study of
Shoreline Community College's Master Plan. This group
will ensure that the College addresses the concerns of
the public and is in compliance with processes set forth
by the City of Shoreline.

Master Plan
In accordance with the State
Board for Community and Technical Colleges, Shoreline Community College
has undertaken a Facilities Master Planning Process. The College has
identified sustainability as the overall theme for the process with the
stated mission of generating a plan that embraces a wide range of
visibly sustainable ideas and practices both in the overall approach and
in the ultimate implementation.

FEIS AVAILABILITY - COMPLETE MASTER PLAN
In accordance with Chapter 197-11 Washington
Administrative Code and rules adopted by Shoreline Community College
that implement SEPA, notice is hereby given that Shoreline Community
College has completed and issued a Final Environmental Impact Statement
(FEIS) concerning the proposed Shoreline Community College Concept
Master Plan. The FEIS, together with the Draft EIS, provide
• analysis of potential environmental
impacts based on a wide range of
environmental parameters;
• information relative to project changes
that have occurred since issuance of
the Draft EIS;
• written comments and testimony
received concerning the Draft
EIS; and
• responses to those comments.
DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

PUBLIC MEETING: A public meeting will be held on 12, May, 2004 at 7:00pm
in Building 900 (Pagoda Union Building), Canteen Room on the SCC Campus.
The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens and property owners an
opportunity to learn more about the proposal and to identify any
concerns, issues, and problems.
