We are seeking individuals who want to assume an active role in this workshop. While anyone is welcome to attend the workshop about 25 participants will serve the workshop in a unique capacity.
In the company of five Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows from the U.W. Evans School of Public Affairs, these particular participants will learn and then demonstrate skills in compassionate listening and create short skits in small groups that highlight skills critical to conflict negotiation.
No particular acting or listening skills are needed. However, we are looking for individuals who:
- work well in a group setting
- listen well to others
- are eager to learn
- are passionate about human rights issues
If you wish to serve as a participant please indicate such below. Even if you only plan to be an observer, we would appreciate it if you would let us know so that we can plan accordingly.
