Student clubs are an integral part of a rich college
experience. Students have started clubs about poetry,
literature, and other related issues in the past.
Spindrift is Shoreline Community College's own
award-winning art and literary journal. This journal has
been publishing student, local and regional art and
literature since 1962. This has won numerous awards for
best literary magazine in Seattle's Bumbershoot
Festival. Published annually, this magazine solicits
work from Fall - mid-Winter quarters and publishes in
the Spring.

This club originated in 2004 to support student
writers of poetry, fiction and other forms of literary

This is the premiere student newspaper of Shoreline
Community College. It features student writing, artwork,
photos, and comics. It highlights important issues of
campus concern, and it provides a wide forum for student
journalistic and creative expression.
