Completion Program
How Do I
Apply?
If you
are an adult not currently attending high school:
1.
Contact the last high school you attended
and request an official, sealed copy of your
transcript. Mail or drop off your transcript to the High
School Programs Office, Rm. 5216.
2. Schedule
an appointment with the High School Completion Office by
calling (206) 546-6906 or (206) 546-6964.
3.
Submit a Shoreline Community College
Application for Admission.
4. Meet
with the High School Completion Advisor to review your
transcript evaluation. The evaluation will determine
what course work is necessary to earn a diploma through
the college. Your transcripts will also indicate
whether the additional state requirements have been met.
5. Arrange
to take the COMPASS test. Call the Testing Center at
(206) 546-4608 to make an appointment to take the test.
6. Attend
a New Student Orientation & Registration session and
meet with a High School Completion Advisor to register
for classes.
If you
are a full-time high school student:
1. Schedule
an appointment with your high school counselor regarding
the class(es) you will need for graduation and request a
“Permission Letter” to attend the College.
2. Schedule
an appointment with the High School Completion Office by
calling (206) 546-6906 or (206) 546-6964.
3. Submit
a Shoreline Community College Application for Admission.
4. Bring
your permission letter and completed application to the
High School Completion Office, Rm. 5216.
5. Arrange
to take the COMPASS test. Call the Testing Center at
(206) 546-4608 to make an appointment to take the test.
6. Meet
with a High School Completion Advisor to complete the
registration process for the upcoming quarter.
