Complete and file a Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our federal school code is
003791.
If you are applying for
financial aid over the internet, students (and a parent)
will need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for
electronic signature available at
www.pin.ed.gov. Or they will need to print, sign and mail the signature page. It
is fastest to file the form electronically using the PIN to
electronically "sign" the application.
Once you have received your PIN, you may go online at
www.fafsa.ed.gov
to electronically file your FAFSA form. Paper FAFSA forms are also available on the racks inside and outside of the financial aid office.
Use the 2007-2008 FAFSA for Summer 2005 thru Spring 2006. Be sure you choose the correct year’s form based on when you plan to enroll at SCC.
Use the 2007-2008 FAFSA for Summer 2006 thru Spring 2007. The priority deadline for getting maximum aid is
May 5, 2006. Once
the federal processor confirms your application has been
processed and/or you receive a letter from the Financial Aid
Office at SCC, you should complete the additional required
steps.
