Multicultural Studies

This is a required hybrid course designed to explore different forms of categorical oppression in US society at a personal and institutional level. One aim of this course is to foster an understanding of the manifestations of these forms of oppression in an historic and contemporary context. Other objectives are to improve each student’s cross-cultural awareness and knowledge, as well as critical thinking and social action skills.
