First-ever World Baseball Classic to begin

Starting March 3 and continuing to March 20 is the first ever (and hopefully not the last) World Baseball Classic. The WBC will consist of 16 nations from around the world. Each team will consist of the best players competing for their home countries and territories for the first time ever.

With the 2006 Shoreline Community College Tennis season looming closer to match-day, head coach Eric Moujtahid-Webster is checking the numbers, and something just isn't right. Whereas the men's team has a solid base to work with, the women's team is in need of some ladies to fill positions.
