The following events took place between May 7 and May 28, 2004

May 7: Sliding into Home
At 3 p.m. a softball player, off campus, reportedly twisted her right ankle sliding into home plate.

May 10: Injury Report
At 9:15 a.m. an employee reportedly hurt his back while moving tables for class.

May 10: Physical Threat
At 1 p.m. a non-student reportedly became upset after losing a basketball game and threatened a student with physical harm.

May 11: Slipup
At 3:40 p.m. an employee reportedly slipped and fell while running after a child in the 1900 building.

May 12: Soliciting
At 1:00 p.m. in the courtyard, people were reported to be passing out magazines and asking for donations.

May 13: Trespassers
At 8:20 a.m. a homeless man was reported to be in the courtyard asking for coffee and money. Uncomfortable students complained to security and he was asked to leave. He returned soon after, said security. He was given a trespass notice, which prohibits him from the campus for a year.
At 1:30 p.m. a person in the visitor lot reportedly became very aggressive with officers. He was given a trespass notice.

May 13: Vehicle Theft
At 3:10 p.m. a car theft was reported in the event lot. The lock was popped on a Toyota Corolla and CDs, books, and a stereo were reportedly stolen.

May 14: Injury
At 11:35 a.m. a male reportedly ripped his Achilles tendon while playing badminton in the gym.

May 14: Harassment
At 1:40 p.m. a student reportedly felt harassed by another student. Security talked to both parties and stated that there should be no further problems.

May 17: Ticket Upset
At 11:15 a.m. a student upset about multiple parking tickets, reportedly became verbally abusive with staff. He was referred to the Vice President for Student Services for a student code of conduct violation.

May 20: False Alarm
At 2:00 p.m. construction in the 5000 building set off the alarm.

May 21: Smoking Violation
At 10:30 a.m. a student smoking near the 2200 building was referred for a student code of conduct violation. The student was reportedly told by two separate officers to follow the campus rules and he continued to smoke.

May 21: Hit and Run
Between the times of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. a hit and run was reported in the event lot. The Pontiac Grand Prix had large scratches on the side of it.

May 21: Illegal Dumping
At 11:30 p.m. an officer found garbage bags on campus. Security was able to find the person who dumped them and had him clean it up.

May 24: Theft
At 12:45 p.m. a purse was reported stolen out of the women’s restroom in the 1500 building.

May 27: Vehicle Theft
At 1:30 p.m. a student reported a vehicle break-in. The only thing reportedly taken was the plastic piece around his stereo.

May 27: Re-injury
At 12:30 p.m. a student who ripped his Achilles tendon reportedly fell while going down the library stairs.

May 28: Trespasser
At 11:30 a.m. a non-student who has reportedly been verbally abusive to staff on several incidents, was given a trespass notice.

May 28: Fire
At 12 p.m. near the 2700 building, a garbage can was reported to be on fire. It was put out by the time security arrived.

May 28: Aid Call
At 12:45 p.m. a student reported experiencing chest pains. The medics were called and the student was taken to the hospital.

May 28: Fire Alarm
At 5:30 a.m. the fire alarm was set off in the library. It is thought to be due to the heating system heating dust inside of it.
