JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE EBBTIDE SPORTS EDITOR The Sports Editor is in charge of writing sports stories, selecting art and laying out the sports pages. He/she may be assigned reporters or photographers for this task. He/she must attend sports games; maintain the athletics department as a beat; maintain a calendar of sports events for publication; conduct interviews of relevant sports figures, and support comprehensive sports coverage of campus sports teams and events.
