When trying to log into Blackboard, you may see a Website Certificate pop up when you click the "User Login" button.

The pop-up window will look like this in the Firefox browser or something similar in other web browsers:

Select "Accept this certificate permanently" (or something similar in other web browsers) and then click OK.  The new certificate for Blackboard is safe and the http://shoreline.blackboard.com website is a secure and trusted site.  After you have "selected the certificate permanently," you will be directed to the Blackboard login page.
