 With
two fully equipped theatre spaces adaptable to every
type of staging, each year the department presents a
season of outstanding live theatre that ranges from full
blown musicals to intimate drama to evenings of student
directed plays. A TV studio and seven station edit suite
are also available for video production and editing.
The department boasts the latest in equipment for
stage and field video production. Students receive
hands-on experience with professional quality cameras,
lighting, sound and editing equipment. These include
Panasonic AG DVX100 Mini DV 24p, and JVC GY-DV 500 Mini
DV cameras, Arri and Lowell light kits, a variety of
field audio equipment including Sennheiser shotgun and
lavalier microphones, and seven Avid Xpress Pro editing
stations. Just as importantly, the school and faculty
remain committed to providing the most up to date
facilities and equipment for students.
