Jeff Dean has worked regularly in films and TV since
moving to L.A. He had a major role in Murder.com with
Natasha Kinski and appeared in Valentine's Day.
Raelene Platt works as a Casting Assistant for the
Topo Swope Talent Agency
Eric Logan is completing his MFA at the New School
University in New York, is Creative Director of M12 a
company that designs, edits and presents video
installations for galleries, museums and theater such as
X/fest digital Arts Festival in New York and the Center
on Contemporary Arts in Seattle.
Jenica Deer is completing her BA at the University of
Washington where she has been stage manager for their
undergraduate and graduate productions.
Todd Szekely's production company does commercials,
industrials and short films. He worked with current
acting students George Johnson and Kevin Love to create
the short subject Home which was shown at the New York
Midnight Madness Festival and the IFP Buzz Cut Short
Festival.
Video Production students' documentaries and promos
for the Northwest Folklife Festival, Seattle Marathon,
the King County Prosecutors' Office, and Seattle's Tent
City (that is run by and for homeless people) have given
them broadcast and screening credit on a local level.
These productions and internships have propelled them
into jobs with the Experience Music Project, KING
5/Northwest Cable News, KIRO TV, the Rain Forest Project
and with local production/post-production houses doing
national commercial spots and local programming.
Danielle Burd has worked as an executive producer,
segment production, and production manager on several
national TV shows.
Many students have worked on Digital Duo (a PBS TV
show) garnering them National TV credits.
Jerry Noggle works in LA as a director of photography
and grip.
Jason Adkins has worked in two independent films
Everything Changes, and The Chiller.
Tina Thomas worked at PNTA supply house and is
currently the theater manager for Eastside High School
in Issaquah.
Beth Farnham worked as the office and production
manager for 3 years at Umo, an international performance
group based on Vashon Island. She currently works with
Independent Film Production to coordinate events at the
Seattle Film Festival. This fall she will finish work on
her B.A. in Arts Management at the Academy of Art
University in San Francisco where she has received a
scholarship
Barry Ford has started his own business, Abstrakct
Productions, which is a production/post-production house
and Avid Edit Station Authorized Systems specialist.
A group of SCC students worked on a short film as
part of the Fly Filmmaking Program at the Seattle
International Film Festival with writer/director Jim
Taylor.
