who can contribute unique perspectives, experiences,
knowledge and skills. Students are active participants
in the learning process and are responsible for their
own learning. I foster critical thinking and
prepare my students to function effectively as dental
hygienists. Teaching is a process of encouraging
students to make connections between their experiences
and new information and skills. When this
'discovery process', or connections happen, true
education takes place, cultivating the life-long
learning skills in our students."

and analysis with hands on application results in
stimulating trial and error outcomes, a good learning
outline. Believing education is a life-long, integral
part of a positive and productive journey, Kellee keeps
an enthusiastic outlook daily. "Compassion for each
individual I reach to achieve optimal oral health is my
goal and I hope to instill this in my interaction with
students."
