Her philosophy of education:

"I respect each of my students as capable individuals who can contribute unique perspectives, experiences, knowledge and skills. Students are active participants in the learning process and are responsible for their own learning.  I foster critical thinking and prepare my students to function effectively as dental hygienists.  Teaching is a process of encouraging students to make connections between their experiences and new information and skills.  When this 'discovery process', or connections happen, true education takes place, cultivating the life-long learning skills in our students."

She has spent close to 30 years in clinical practice in Washington and Florida, gaining valuable knowledge and experience. Kellee recognizes the sharing of ideas, discussion and analysis with hands on application results in stimulating trial and error outcomes, a good learning outline. Believing education is a life-long, integral part of a positive and productive journey, Kellee keeps an enthusiastic outlook daily. "Compassion for each individual I reach to achieve optimal oral health is my goal and I hope to instill this in my interaction with students."
