University Transfer

CampusGeneral Transfer Information

General Transfer Information for completing a transfer program at Shoreline Community College gives students a tremendous advantage as they step toward a bachelor's degree.

Most four-year schools, such as the University of Washington, give priority to community college transfer students who are well prepared for the junior year. This is typically accomplished by completing one of the transfer Associates degrees and working with a Shoreline CC advisor to take courses appropriate for the intended major.

Students with a variety of goals may begin their college careers in liberal arts right here on our campus. The College offers the Associate in Arts (AA-DTA or AA-IP) and Associate in Science (AS-T) and Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degrees which correspond to the first two years of study at a four-year college or university. > More Transfer Degrees Planning Sheets

There are many university transfer programs which have a focus on a particular area of study.  By taking elective courses in your area of study, you can become better prepared to transfer to your major at a four-year university. You can review a list of those programs that currently have a curriculum concentration.
