Shoreline Community College Criminal Justice Program

Introduced over 30 years ago, Shoreline's Criminal Justice Program has grown into one of the most respected sources for criminal justice education in the State of Washington. We offer a variety of criminal justice courses to  prepare students either for immediate employment (AAAS degree) or for transfer to a university bachelor's degree program (AAS degree). We also offer both an AAS degree and a 48-credit Certificate of Proficiency in Emergency Dispatching. Learn more about these options by clicking on the Degree Options Link.

Past Shoreline graduates are currently employed in the Washington State Patrol, municipal and county law enforcement agencies throughout Washington and in other states, federal agencies, the practice of law, private security, private investigations, corrections, and social service agencies. Shoreline's Criminal Justice Advisory Board is made up of working criminal justice professionals from street level to command level officers, and all but one of the faculty are either former or current law enforcement professionals.
