Math 98 Fall 2006

ANNOUNCEMENTS

We will be taking the COMPASS test on Thursday.  Report directly to Room 4214 (in the library).  This is a mandatory part of the class—worth a homework assignment.  I expect you to do your best, however your actual score on the test will not affect your grade—only the fact that you took it.

Exam 3, covering only Chapter 12, will be on Friday, December 8th.  The final will be at the time below (which is in accordance with the final exam schedule).  You may use one 8.5x11 handwritten sheet of notes for each exam.  Good luck.

The 8:30-9:20 class’s final will be:

8-10AM Wednesday, Dec. 13 in the usual room.

The 11:30-12:20 class’s final will be:

11AM-1PM Wednesday, Dec. 13 in the usual room

There is an extra credit assignment, due the last day of class (Dec. 8).  This assignment is worth 1 quiz grade.

Welcome to the Math 98 website.  Here are some downloads for you and the homework.  Any announcements for the class will be posted here.

You will need Microsoft Word or a program that can read .doc files (most word processors will work) to access much of the material.  Let me know if you have difficulty with this.
